Exchange students
On April 8th, our school had a three-day exchange visit with Gower High School, the best public school in Wales. Steven and I met our friend Ethan, who is in charge of our care, and it was an unforgettable three days, not only for the school, but also for me.
Visiting Day
There were 10 students and 3 teachers in total. The first day of visit was Tuesday, Steven and I were in charge of Ethan's class schedule, running classrooms and accompanying meals.
On the first day we met at the ceremony and exchanged ideas about the school culture and some speeches from the representatives, then we were taken to the prescribed classrooms for lessons, and in the afternoon there was an activity organized for the exchange students to participate in after lunch. It was really a very full three days for our friends from Wales, the timetable and schedule was very tight, but we adapted very quickly, and sincerity and friendliness are the best tools for communication, and we all did great. It's been a great three days for our friends in Wales.

Activities
Besides the welcome ceremony, the school also arranged some other activities to help our friends understand Chinese culture. The school organized sessions of lantern making, calligraphy learning, campus tour, dumpling making and watching a musical. The response was very good. The school organized a Summer Palace and Peking Opera after school and the day after the separation they went to the Great Wall.
Wednesday was the performance day of Stage is Yours, and Gower students also brought us two songs, our school teachers also sang two songs, our friends from Wales sang us the most classic “The Moon Represents My Heart” and a Welsh folk song, and after that we sang “Hey Jude”, and I closed the concert with “I love you”, which was half an hour long! The concert was unique in the history of Stage is Yours, and as a Coordinator, this experience allowed me to better improve my coordination and communication skills.

Interaction with friends
There was a lot of interaction with friends over the three days we spent together, not just verbally but also in terms of sports. The school day in Wales is shorter than in China, and English students sleep 8-10 hours a day. This is a normal but still surprising number to me, they sleep really regularly. Unfortunately, education in China is often difficult to provide this kind of routine and sleep schedule, so I hope it will get better in the future. By the way, my speaking and listening skills are not very good, and sometimes I can't fully understand Ethan when we are together, but Ethan is very tolerant of Steven and me, and his tolerance makes us less nervous. learning about music, which gave me an idea of what the subject of music technology is really like.

Farewell
Although it was only three days, the experience and memories were invaluable in my high school career; Ethan brought me not only culture and insight, but also pure kindness and love. The warmth I felt was incomparable and unrepeatable. Three days together made the distance of 2,000 kilometers become palpable, and these small moments of warmth, like the Welsh-Chinese double-flag brooch he gave me, will always shine brightly.
